Earth Day Acts of Kindess

Apr 17 / Uncategorized

When was the last time you did something nice for our planet? In honor of Earth Day, we’re thinking of little ways to show our love for the place we call home. From planting a tree to finally remembering that reusable cup, our everyday acts of kindness can make a big difference for mother nature.

On April 22nd, stop by our Little Free Library to pick up a packet of seeds to take home and plant. Plus, here are more ideas of little ways you can celebrate Earth Day.

  • Bring reusable bags to the grocery store
  • Pick up a piece of trash on your next walk/run
  • Avoid single-use plastics – go for glass or paper when possible
  • Flip the switch! Turn the lights off when you leave the room
  • Take a shorter shower
  • Meal plan to minimize food waste
