At Highland Village, we honor Black History Month by celebrating the voices, stories, and contributions of Black authors. Throughout February, our Little Free Library will be stocked with a curated collection of books by Black writers, both from Mississippi and beyond. From timeless classics to contemporary must-reads, these works reflect the rich heritage, culture, and impact of Black storytelling.
Guests are encouraged to take a book, leave a book, and share in the experience of literary discovery. Whether you’re exploring history, poetry, fiction, or memoirs, there’s something to inspire every reader.
Visit our Little Free Library all month long and join us in celebrating Black voices—because every story deserves to be heard.
Our Library is located across from Vamp Salon between the Courtyard and the Plaza.
